The Inspiration ~ Darkling came from my love for all that is the macabre if you will. I especially adore the TV series Penny Dreadfull from which the above poem, Ode to a nightingale is much coveted. "To be half in love with easeful death"

Fragrant Musings ~ Winter Months & Moth Wing ~ We have persevered through the longest nights & the busiest time of the year has now passed, and hopefully rest & restoration are a welcomed need for us all. While must of us are now finding warmth & comfort in our homes, to be nestled down with candle light & maybe a good book or favourite program to rewatch. I still like to spray myself & home with fragrance, it creates a relaxing & personal olfactory experience, and lifts my spirits. Scent is of course personal & should always be enjoyed...
