How long does postage take? : All our orders are sent via Royal Mail with tracking. Postage also covers packaging costs. Dispatch notifications will be sent to you once your item has left HH please allow up to 6 days ays for orders to be fulfilled & dispatched (excluding weekends) . Busy periods it may be up to 7 days dispatch (please reach out to me if you require your order urgently) . I am a one woman independent company who operates solely on their own, please be patient & respectfull.
Do you ship Internationally? Unfortunately at the moment only to the UK. Due to stricter EU import laws & restrictions regarding fragrance I can no longer ship overseas.
Important IMPORT FEES AND CUSTOMS : Every country's import taxes (and or) duty fees are different and it is your responsibility alone to be aware of your own country's custom laws as well as your responsibility to pay the additional taxes & duty fees that goes along with importing products from our country. We can not know how much the additional fees are, please be aware of your countries policies. Custom laws vary from country to country, some countries will hold your order for pick up. If you decline to retrieve your package from customs within their turn around time usually 21 days and it is shipped back to us, it is your responsibility to purchase additional shipping. Are your products Cruelty free, Vegan and Compliant? : All our handmade products are vegan and cruelty free. All our Fragrance Oils are vegan friendly & All our fragrance oils are IFRA & EU Compliant. Certified Documentation for each scent are obtained from our fragrance suppliers. They have gone through a CPSR as standard, They’re always diluted to the appropriate recommended percentage for the fragrance. If irritation occurs always discontinue use. If pregnant please consult your physician first! Full ingredient lists can be found on our fragrance transparency page
what about returns / refunds? : We don’t offer refunds unless faulty. We require a photo of Damaged goods. if for any reason you’re unhappy with a product please email me at Hello@hausofhecate in the first instance, with your order number and your concerns. And what the problem is *please note that we do not refund for the reason that you just ‘Don’t like a scent / Smell’ please read our scent descriptions before committing* I hope you understand this decision.
Customers are responsible for the return & cost, I recommend sending the item back via Royal Mail and keeping postage proof. Only items that are unused & in original packaging maybe refunded 🖤
How long do your perfumes last? : Our essential oil perfumes contain natural ingredients so no harsh chemicals or alcohol. They last a couple of hours on pulse points and can be reapplied as often as needed. They’re subtle and are a personal scent that you may catch a sniff off throughout the day.
Eau de Parfums contain Alcohol and have a 30% dilution strength. They have a generous sillage and throw, they last around 3-4 hours depending on skin moisture and environmental factors

All our Fragrance Oils are vegan friendly & All our fragrance oils are IFRA & EU Compliant. They’re always diluted to the appropriate recommended percentage for the product. We follow IFRA guidelines & have undergone an CPSR, and like all perfumes sold in the EU, the materials used to make our perfumes are never tested on animals; they are also vegan. Synthetic versions of traditional animalic ingredients such as musk, civet, leather and ambergris are used.
Our Aura mists contain the ingredients at the listing and the following: contains; 3,4,5,6,6- PENTAMETHYLHEPT-3-EN-2-ONE (AND ISOMERS), 4-TERTBUTYLCYCLOHEXYL, ACETATE, LINALYL, ACETATE, MAY CAUSE AN ALLERGIC REACTION.
Diffusers & Candle care: All our diffusers & candles are lovingly hand made and small batch. A few tips: diffuser plugs can be hard to remove (from past experience) I find gripping the plug with some scissors and wriggle them up and down gently slowly removes it. I also recommend gripping the bottle with a teatowel to avoid spillage on your hands and counter. Rotate the reeds every few days. And swirl the liquid around gently. candles and their natural waxes may change colour with certain temperatures this is natural. Don’t burn for more that 4 hours at a time and always trim the wick before each burn to avoid sooting and flame flickers. (See warning labels on all diffusers & candles) All our candles / diffusers are CLP compliant

I ordered a perfume and a mini set for myself and couldn't be happier. Although my package arrived damaged by the carrier, the seller's customer service was exceptional. They replied to my email promptly and immediately sent out a replacement with a new tracking number. To top it off, the fragrances smell absolutely amazing! I will definitely be back to order full-sized bottles !

So I had to order a large bottle of Blood Moon after falling in love with it, after purchasing the Gothic Tales Discovery Set! I can see myself ending up with quite a collection of these perfumes. The lasting power is fantastic and I have def been more impressed with these than some other alt perfumes I have tried. Another fantastic purchase that arrived promptly and well packaged. So bloody happy that I found these products!! I have been looking for some alt perfumes for a long time and these DO NOT disappoint!! The box arrived swiftly and was perfectly packaged and presented. I was sent an additional sample of Midsummer which was really lovely and much appreciated. Enjoyed trying all of the scents! Witches is amazing, but Blood Moon was the one that really stood out for me, meaning I obviously had to purchase a big bottle immediately! The staying power of this scent is super impressive! 👌 👏 Victoria was lovely and super helpful and I'd be prepared to take these scents to my grave! 🧙♀️🌜🪦🖤✨️

So I ended up only liking a couple of these. I also think these are going to be layered. The lasting power is quite good but a couple ended up making me feel lightheaded. I am quite weird with perfume as it is so that’s a me problem. I really enjoyed including wearing southern gothic, owl moon, soft goth, cathedral and witches. I smelled them all and then gave them a day of wear and those were definitely my favourites. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing a full size but I am glad I tried them anyways. Maybe I’ll wear them more and change my mind. The rest will be getting passed on perfume is one of those things that you just don’t really know until you’ve tried but with that I know people who will get a better use out of it :). The owner is very lovely and really good at communicating aswell like I have had a great experience.

Another beautiful scent! I ordered a big bottle of Cathedral (if you haven’t got it yet you NEED to!) and I also treated myself to a small bottle of Blood Moon. What else can I say? The scents are gorgeous, the price is more than reasonable, the smell lasts all day and everything about it is just *chefs kiss* perfect!
I absolute adore this scent!! It’s fast becoming my “signature scent” because I just love how it smells and how the scent lasts all day!! For someone like myself that doesn’t like the chemically/artificial smell of most mainstream perfumes this is ideal! I also got a small bottle of Blood Moon which also smells amazing. I bought Cathedral second-hand as it was unavailable, and Soft Goth directly from here. I am amazed by the scents, only wish they would be noticed from a bit further, but it's still great. I layer the two, and I love the combo. Only downside is the Soft Goth cap splits, so when I try to undo it, the black outer layer goes first, and the white layer stays behind. It's a minor thing though, doesn't affect use too much. Will definitely buy some more fragrances from here!

I was most excited to try Cathedral and it did NOT disappoint! Very heavy on smokiness and incense, if you want a touch of warmth or sweetness, I recommend spraying Blood Moon first, then Cathedral on top!
My second favourite has to be Witches, although it doesnt last on me as much as I thought 🥲 it is the exact scent Ive been looking for ages.
Midsummer and Soft Goth are tied for third place. Midsummer is exactly as you d think: flowery, summery, like a love note :) (definitely lasts on me as long as ink on paper haha). Soft goth on the other hand, has a sweet, nostalgic and most alluring scent, almost trapping you within it!
Cannot begin to describe my love for the cathedral collection! It reminds me of a warm, resinous, incense type church with a little sweetness to it too. The quality of these items are beyond my expectations and I highlyyy recommend Haus of Hecate’s products so much she is so wonderful. I even received a free sample of Blood Moon to which I purchased a full size bottle! The products and customer appreciation is otherworldly 🖤

I have SOOOOOOOO many little samples and I save all the bottles, and have so far had 4 large perfumes, bath salts and a room spray. I’ve always been very sensitive and particular with smells, and prefer woody, oakmossy and masculine undertones. My go to years ago before it was discontinued was Smugglers Soul by Lush. When that went, I was lost for a long time until I found Sunset Riot by All Saints, but this never quite hit the spot. I more recently tried Cursed which I was super excited for, but was incredibly disappointed at the price, their scents and their quality. I never bought again from there. Then I found Haus of Hecate and the rest is history…. That missing piece I had been seeking. The scents are gorgeous, the aesthetic is beyond, and each time I order I feel like a valued customer with the incredible packaging and extra samples. I just cannot fault anything about this business and will forever be a customer! I love trying the new samples and I also love mixing the scents together! Cathedral is my absolute favourite but I use it for occasions, and right now my daily scent is a mix of Summer Goth and Soft Goth.
