How long does postage take? : All our orders are sent via Royal Mail with tracking. Postage also covers packaging costs. Dispatch notifications will be sent to you once your item has left HH please allow 2-3 days for orders to be fulfilled & dispatched. Busy periods it may be up to 5 days dispatch (please reach out to me if you require your order urgently) . I am a one woman independent company who operates solely on their own, please be patient & respectfull.
Do you ship Internationally? Unfortunately at the moment only to the UK. Due to stricter EU import laws & restrictions regarding fragrance I can no longer ship overseas.
Important IMPORT FEES AND CUSTOMS : Every country's import taxes (and or) duty fees are different and it is your responsibility alone to be aware of your own country's custom laws as well as your responsibility to pay the additional taxes & duty fees that goes along with importing products from our country. We can not know how much the additional fees are, please be aware of your countries policies. Custom laws vary from country to country, some countries will hold your order for pick up. If you decline to retrieve your package from customs within their turn around time usually 21 days and it is shipped back to us, it is your responsibility to purchase additional shipping. We don’t refund unclaimed orders
Are your products Cruelty free, Vegan and Compliant? : All our handmade products are vegan and cruelty free. All our Fragrance Oils are vegan friendly & All our fragrance oils are IFRA & EU Compliant. Certified Documentation for each scent are obtained from our fragrance suppliers. They’re always diluted to the appropriate recommended percentage for the fragrance. If irritation occurs always discontinue use. If pregnant please consult your physician first! what about returns / refunds? : We don’t offer refunds unless faulty. We require a photo of Damaged goods. if for any reason you’re unhappy with a product please email me at Hello@hausofhecate in the first instance, with your order number and your concerns. And what the problem is *please note that we do not refund for the reason that you just ‘Don’t like a scent / Smell’ please read our scent descriptions before committing* I hope you understand this decision.
Customers are responsible for the return & cost, I recommend sending the item back via Royal Mail and keeping postage proof. Only items that are unused & in original packaging maybe refunded 🖤
How long do your perfumes last? : Our essential oil perfumes contain natural ingredients so no harsh chemicals or alcohol. They last a couple of hours on pulse points and can be reapplied as often as needed. They’re subtle and are a personal scent that you may catch a sniff off throughout the day.
Eau de Parfums contain Alcohol and have a 20% dilution strength. They have a generous sillage and throw, they last around 3-4 hours depending on skin moisture and environmental factors
Important : as with all cosmetics & perfumes always do a patch test and discontinue use if irritation occurs. See our fragrance advice page for more information please reach out if you have any concerns or feedback
All our Fragrance Oils are vegan friendly & All our fragrance oils are IFRA & EU Compliant. They’re always diluted to the appropriate recommended percentage for the product. We follow IFRA guidelines and like all perfumes sold in the EU, the materials used to make our perfumes are never tested on animals; they are also vegan. Synthetic versions of traditional animalic ingredients such as musk, civet, leather and ambergris are used.
Our Aura mists contain the ingredients at the listing and the following: contains; 3,4,5,6,6- PENTAMETHYLHEPT-3-EN-2-ONE (AND ISOMERS), 4-TERTBUTYLCYCLOHEXYL, ACETATE, LINALYL, ACETATE, MAY CAUSE AN ALLERGIC REACTION.
Diffusers & Candle care: All our diffusers & candles are lovingly hand made and small batch. A few tips: diffuser plugs can be hard to remove (from past experience) I find gripping the plug with some scissors and wriggle them up and down gently slowly removes it. I also recommend gripping the bottle with a teatowel to avoid spillage on your hands and counter. Rotate the reeds every few days. And swirl the liquid around gently. candles and their natural waxes may change colour with certain temperatures this is natural. Don’t burn for more that 4 hours at a time and always trim the wick before each burn to avoid sooting and flame flickers. (See warning labels on all diffusers & candles) All our candles / diffusers are CLP compliant
