Wooden Doll ~ A fragrant tale
If there was a scent for a Victorian Christmas I believe this would be it ~ Warming, eloping & nostalgic. Warm fires & the smell sweet tobacco, spiced fruits & wooden toys laden under trees 🌲 the wonder of the night while nestling down under blankets.
Wooden dolls opened on Christmas morning, the scent of Yule eve steeped in the grains of the wood, nostalgia immortalised.
A beautiful fragrant oil for the changing of the season ~ Clouds of tobacco leaf & pinched patchouli, bedded down in tangles of orris root & rose petals. Nestled on a bed of wood & mossy undergrowth and a sweetening of balsam sugar.
